Field of Possibility is an original 24" x 36" oil painting by Cleveland-based contemporary artist Stina Aleah. Part of The Childhood I Carried series, this figurative painting explores Black childhood, baseball, community, imagination, and the people who help shape what children believe is possible for their lives.
Two young boys climb a chain-link fence to watch a baseball game unfolding on the other side. One raises his glove into the air, waiting for the possibility of a ball coming his way. That anticipation becomes something larger within the painting: a reflection on childhood dreams and the excitement of imagining what could come next.
The fence becomes both a physical boundary and a place to look beyond. On the other side are players, a field, and possibilities the boys can already see themselves becoming part of.
Field of Possibility also reflects on the role adults and communities play in expanding a child's sense of what is possible. The fields we build, the examples we set, and the spaces we create for children can become part of how they imagine their own futures.
Painted in oil on canvas, Field of Possibility captures an ordinary childhood moment while exploring something much bigger: anticipation, belonging, mentorship, sportsmanship, community, and the freedom to dream.

Each piece is created or printed specifically for your order, and returns are not accepted unless your item arrives damaged.
Damaged Items

Clear photos of the damage
Photos of the packaging (if applicable)
We will review your claim and may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund depending on the situation. Claims made after 7 days may not be eligible for resolution.
Lost or Missing Packages
If your package is marked as delivered but you haven’t received it, please contact your local carrier first. If the issue isn’t resolved, email us at info@stinaaleah.com, and we’ll do our best to assist.

Custom commissions or made-to-order items (such as embellished fine art prints or original paintings) may require additional time, which will be communicated to you at the time of purchase.
Shipping Rates & Delivery

Domestic (U.S.): Delivery usually takes 2-5 business days after shipping.

Packaging
All artwork is packaged securely to protect it in transit. Prints are typically shipped flat in rigid mailers or rolled in protective tubes, while original artworks are packed in reinforced boxes or crates, depending on size.
Lost or Damaged Packages
