A Childhood Lost Fine Art Print

A Childhood Lost was inspired by artist Stina Aleah’s son and the anxiety he experienced about returning to school following the continued news of school shootings. It reflects the painful moment when a place once associated with learning, friendship, and possibility no longer feels completely safe.

Through this deeply personal painting, Stina explores how the threat of school violence can take something intangible from a child: the innocence and joy of going to school without fear. The work also holds the perspective of a mother witnessing her child carry an anxiety that children should never have to bear.

The original painting has been sold and now belongs to a private collection.

This open-edition print allows its message to continue reaching parents, educators, and collectors who believe children deserve to learn, grow, and dream without fear.
